Putters

Splinter

"The Splinter is an excellent, low-profile putter suitable for putters of all skill levels. This extremely stable puck does not tip over even when throwing hard and has a very predictable and reliable final curve. In addition to putting, the puck is also excellent for technical approach shots.

The lower part of the rim is pleasantly rounded, which helps to remove the disc from the hand with the same precision every time. If you are a beginner and need a putter and a reliable approach disc for shorter distances, choose Splinter. For more advanced players, this is a reliable puck for approaches and opening shorter fairways even in windy conditions.

Splinter is available in top quality G7 plastic. The material is an extremely well-gripped special alloy, which, thanks to its leatheriness, sticks well to the chains. Thanks to the good grip, the player can use a slightly softer grip, thanks to which the release is cleaner when putting. Splinter also works brilliantly in damp and wet conditions and is at its best in medium and short distance putts and difficult approaches.

Splinter is PDGA Approved, Certificate #14-72.

Magma

"Magma is a well-aligned, stable/overstable approach puck. Even at high starting speeds, Magma does not turn over, but flies straight until, when it slows down, it probably goes into the final fade. Even with a slower throw, Magma is not too overstable, but remains very controllable and has a clear flight.

Magma is made from H9 material, which is very durable, yet flexible and in the premium plastics department. The H9 material has also proven to be one of the best plastics for coloring discs.

Magma is PDGA Approved, Certificate No. 21-79.

Flight rating: 5 5 0 2"

Shard

"Shard is an easy-to-throw and excellently sticking fairway driver. For a beginner player, the trajectory of Shard's initial flight is straight and ends with a moderate final fade. For more advanced throwers, the puck is best used in technical hyzerflips and long overturning throws, where, however, the puck stability is sufficient to keep the flight line under control.

Shard is made of H9 material, which is very durable, yet flexible and in the premium plastics department. The H9 material has also proven to be one of the best plastics for coloring discs.

Shard is approved by PDGA, certificate #18-66.

Being suitably overstable, it enables a wide variety of throws.Cinder is a very well-adherent puck and due to its versatility, it perfectly meets the needs of both amateur and competitive players

Drivers

Caldera

"Caldera is the first driver disc from Obsidian Discs. Caldera's rim width is 22 mm and thus it is placed in speed category 12. The disc is characterized by an understable length driver. The lower part of the rim has a slight rounding, thanks to which it feels pleasant to throw the disc.

Caldera is made from H9 plastic material, which is extremely durable, flexible and holds even a little moisture. Caldera is at its best in calm weather and in a downwind. Even beginner players can use the Caldera, although the widest disc is usually not recommended for new players.

Caldera is PDGA Approved, Certificate #16-45.

Flight Features: 12 5 -1 2

Note! The Calderas of the latest production batch are slightly less stable than the given flight values indicate."

Rift

"The Rift is a very sticky, super-stable flat-edge length/control driver in speed class 11. The rim width is 21 mm and the depth is 12 mm. The Rift is a reliable disc that does not overturn even at high initial speeds, but makes a sure, rather sharp final fade. The Rift is not the most stable puck on the market, but it is at the more stable end of the pucks, making it suitable for a wide variety of throws. The Rift is best suited for advanced players, both for knuckle and palm throws. For hyzer throws and direct throws that require a final fade, the Rift is at its best.

The Rift is made of H9 material, which is very durable, yet flexible and in the premium plastics department. The H9 material has also proven to be one of the best plastics for coloring discs.
